I was wondering if I would use normal tile adhesive to stick to a plastic base or if I should use someting else? I have a torso of a manequin that a want to make a mosaic sculpture with.

Check on the back of your adhesive bottle to see if it says it will work on multiple bases. If there is no mention then check with your local hardware store. As I don't know what adhesive you are using I can't really tell if it will work or not

Be careful with some adhesives as they can often dissolve plastic material. I would ask your local hardware or craft store about the adhesive you have and go from there. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
